Private Chess Lesson

December 21, 2016 by Carolyn

A Private Chess Lesson is the best way to help your game and
we  now offer them at an affordable rate for all students!

“The thing that helps you improve the most is just playing, practicing, playing tournament games, playing games online. Practice is your intuition, practice is your calculation, practice is everything.”~ Magnus Carlsen

Private Chess LessonThe Chessmates curriculum has been developed to teach kids how to improve their Chess game. We’ve created a check list of skills that all chess students should  know to improve and advance to the next level.  Mastering these skills at their own individual pace, identifying their weaknesses, and reviewing chess tactics will help every Chess Kid elevate their game.

We have a variety of knowledgable coaches to choose from with each having been trained by National Master Zachary Bekkedahl, and each instructor has a lot of different availability so that you can have a lesson when you need it.

Click here for a Private Chess Lesson or scroll down.

When you book a lesson your instructor will be in contact with you shortly. Meetings will be held in public places like Libraries and coffee shops. You can book lessons up to 2 months in advance. Refunds are available with 24 hour notice. Lesson price ranges for each coach. Check out each coaches profile below before you book!
We love teaching private lessons and try to make it a fun atmosphere while making the most of your time!
Meet each of our coaches:  Zach Bekkedahl, Gunnar Andersen, Elizabeth Thilmany, Lesley-Ann Knee, Benjamin Beavers
