Last night Chess Grandmaster and world famous blindfold chess player, Timur Gareyev, held a Grandmaster Simultaneous Exhibition.
This exhibition followed a one day Chess Camp for Chessmates Members in Fort Collins, Colorado, that Timur hosted and taught. Many of our Chessmates students were fortunate enough to attend this camp and learn from one of the best!
Attendees walked away with some of Timur’s best tactics and moves allowing them to improve their games, all while impressing the Grandmaster with their knowledge and skills.
This fun and eventful day was rounded out with a tandem simultaneous exhibition games against 20 eager chess enthusiasts from around Fort Collins, Longmont and Greeley. The old, young, new, and skilled, joined in the excitement as both Timur and Zach Bekkendahl played against them.
Chessmates looks forward to hosting Timur Gareev at future events, so stay tuned for more info!
