Our second Schools Out Camp is coming this Thursday and Friday, and we have a few spots open.
This is a great chance to sharpen your chess skills before our first tournament on Saturday. Coach Zach will be teaching lessons, there will be fun events, lots of competitions, and prizes!
Camp is held at:
Council Tree Church
4825 S Lemay, Fort Collins 80525.
You can sign up for one day or BOTH days.

October 17 – Day 1
- 8:30 am – 8:45 am
- Check in
- 9:00 am
Lesson: Endgame lesson going for mate in the endgame - 9:30 am
Fun endgame drills using the lesson with a competition and prizes - 10:00 am
Free play pick a partner or ask Zach a question - 11:00 am
Lesson Two: Famous Grandmaster chess game. Learning from the best - 12:00 pm
Lunch (please pack your own) kids can play games and basketball, or soccer in the gym in this time. - 1:00 pm
Learn to play blindfold chess - 1:30 pm
Practice blindfold game - 2:00 pm
Free play - 3:00 pm
Finish with one serious game - 3:45-4:00 pm
